Calvey where appointed to restore an old, fragile, exposed local Victorian brick warehouse in Baltic Triangle, Liverpool. This solution sought the use of Restoration and Conservation techniques.

The structure has been exposed for a number of years and was saturated with substantial structural movement buddleia growth.

Hydraulic Lime mortars where used throughout the projects form rebuilding to repointing to allow the structure to dry out naturally.

Gables and parapets were fully rebuilt to replicate the original.

All original stone gutters where removed defective underlying brickwork made good and stone giiters cleaned and refitted.

All external brickwork was carefully raked out, cleaned and repointed.
